Volksfest 2025

Volksfest 2025 was a great success. Lots of Volkswagen enthusiasts came to the Saanich Fairgrounds to show off their classics and chat with Volkswagen enthusiasts alike. There were loads of old Beetles, Type 2 Busses, Things (yes, that’s what they’re called), Karmann Ghias and a few other models as well. This was a perfect opportunity for me to explore the video capabilities of my Sony A7 III paired with my DJI RS3 Mini gimbal. In addition, all of the photos you’ll see were shot on a vintage Hanimex 135mm f/2.8 lens.
